Here’s what to anticipate during the commercial storm damage restoration process.

Every storm is unique, as is the damage it leaves behind, so we tailor a restoration plan to meet your specific needs. Here’s a brief overview of the commercial storm damage restoration process.

Upon arrival, our team will inspect the affected area(s) to assess the full extent of the damage. They’ll document all findings to create a precise estimate for the repair costs.

Storm damage often brings water damage with it. To prevent water from spreading and mold from forming, we use submersible pumps, truck-mounted vacuums, and other essential equipment to extract most of the water from the affected area, allowing us to begin drying quickly.

We also utilize tools like infrared cameras to detect moisture levels and locate any hidden water behind walls or in the ceiling.

Once extraction is complete, we’ll assess whether the carpet and carpet pad need removal to protect the integrity of your subfloor.

After water removal, the Supreme Building team will thoroughly dry your floors, walls, and other items to prevent warping, swelling, mold, and other issues that could hinder the restoration process.

We’ll use industrial-strength fans and dehumidifiers to lower humidity and dry out carpets, furniture, drywall, wood, and other materials.

During the drying process, we’ll employ specialized tools to monitor moisture levels in floors, walls, and other areas, ensuring they reach the appropriate levels.

Once everything is dried out, returning your space to "normal" will take a lot of cleaning. This step typically includes the following:

Providing the necessary cleaning techniques to assist in restoring as many items as possible
Utilizing a portable filtration system (air scrubber) to remove lingering and offensive odors
If applicable for your situation, sanitizing and disinfect using industrial-grade cleaning agents
Discarding any damaged items with your approval and according to insurance guidelines
