Those regional facts matter, but they do not prove that a specific house was damaged, identify when a particular condition occurred, or determine insurance coverage. A useful property inspection starts with what is actually visible at the address and documents both storm-related possibilities and ordinary age, wear, maintenance, or installation conditions.

Straight-line wind and tornado wind are not the same

Straight-line wind is thunderstorm wind that moves outward from a storm. A tornado is a rotating column of air extending from a thunderstorm to the ground.
